Meg E'amato

Meg E'amato has been teaching in the Corona-Norco Unified School District for 17 years.  In 2009 she discovered AVID and knew her students would benefit greatly from the program.  Through her persistance the AVID program was adopted at Corona Fundamental Intermediate School in 2010.  She has been an AVID teacher and Coordinator at CFIS for the past five years.  One of the AVID strategies she is most passionate about is Focused Cornell Notes.  She was trained in AVID Focused Cornell Notes in 2011.  Mrs. E'amato has used the Five Days to Focused Cornell Notes lessons to train nearly 1,500 students at her school over the last two years.  It is her hope that these videos will be used at AVID sites to train ALL students to use Focused Cornell Notes.
