Class 2: US History  +15% Increase

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 48%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 63%

Class 1: IB World History  +4.4% Increase

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 90.1%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 94.5%

In history my grade was lower because of tests and now my test grades are better.

My grades have gone from B's to A's!

Class 3: Math  +22.92% Increase

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 28.33%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 51.25%

I'm not very good at math but ever since the training I can retain info even faster.

Class 5: IB World History  -2.6% Decrease

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 88.3%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 85.7%

Class 4: Science  +14.41% Increase

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 48.09%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 62.50%

Class 6: Language Arts  -18.8% Decrease

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 81.9%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 63.1%

 

The teacher for this class said that although the individual test scores from this group of students did not show an increase, he saw a dramatic growth in the overall performance on the "after training" test in comparison to previous years.  He said the "after training" test is the hardest test he gives all year and in comparison to previous years the scores this year were much better.  He attributed that to the Focused Cornell Notes Training.

Class 7: IB US History  -29.8% Decrease

Test average given before Focused Cornell Note training - 86.8%

Test average given after Focused Cornell Note training - 57%

 

The teacher for this class said that the test for the "after training" scores was a much more difficult test that the "before training" test.
